Terms of Service

These Terms of Service outline how R&A Media Productions, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) conducts business with clients (“you” or “your”). By signing a contract, submitting a deposit, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Overview

R&A Media Productions, LLC provides media production, post-production, motion graphics, branding, and related creative services. Our goal is to deliver high-quality work through clear communication, structured timelines, and transparent pricing.

2. Deposits and Payments

  • One-time projects and pilot months require a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins.

  • Multi-month retainers require a 20% non-refundable deposit to reserve your slot on our production calendar.

  • Monthly retainer payments are billed at the start of each month before work begins for that cycle.

  • Final deliverables are released only after full payment is received.
    This structure guarantees your reserved time and keeps production consistent and reliable.

3. Missed Payments and No-Show Cancellations

If an invoice remains unpaid for more than 7 days, or if communication stops during a project or retainer period, the agreement may be considered void and all services will be paused or canceled. The non-refundable deposit and any completed work will be retained to cover reserved time and administrative costs.
Services can resume once payment is received, subject to availability on our schedule.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel a project or retainer at any time.

  • For one-time projects and pilot months, the 50% deposit is non-refundable and covers reserved time and resources.

  • For multi-month retainers, the 20% deposit paid at signup serves as a cancellation fee. Any current month that has already been billed will continue through completion, and all future months will be canceled immediately with no additional fees.
    R&A Media Productions, LLC does not issue refunds for completed work or for cancellations made after production has begun.

5. Revisions and Scope Changes

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds. Additional revisions are available at a flat rate, listed in the details for each package.
Requests that extend beyond the original project scope—such as additional deliverables, format changes, or extended runtime—may incur extra charges and adjusted delivery timelines.

6. Turnaround Times

Delivery timelines depend on the selected package and project complexity.

  • Short-form edits are typically completed within 48 hours.

  • Long-form videos are usually delivered within 2–5 business days.

  • Branding and animation packages may take 1–3 weeks.
    Estimated turnaround times are provided during your onboarding or strategy call. Delays in client feedback or asset delivery may extend timelines.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing all necessary materials (footage, brand assets, reference files, feedback) in a timely manner. Failure to deliver required assets or approvals may delay project completion.
All content provided must be properly licensed or owned by the client. R&A Media Productions, LLC is not responsible for copyright claims related to client-provided materials.

8. Intellectual Property and File Ownership

R&A Media Productions, LLC retains ownership of all project files, working files, and assets until the final invoice is paid in full.
Once payment is complete, the client receives full rights to the final deliverables for distribution, marketing, and publication.
R&A Media Productions, LLC retains the right to showcase finished work in portfolios, marketing materials, and social media unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Confidentiality

All client information, footage, and materials will be kept confidential and will not be shared outside R&A Media Productions, LLC or its trusted contractors without written permission.

10. Portfolio and Promotional Use

R&A Media Productions, LLC reserves the right to share completed work across our website, social media, and marketing channels to demonstrate the quality of our services. If you prefer that your project remain private, please let us know in writing before production begins.

11. Limitation of Liability

R&A Media Productions, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or platform-related issues. Our responsibility is limited to the value of the specific project or retainer under contract.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any disputes shall be handled within the jurisdiction of Sacramento County.

13. Updates to These Terms

R&A Media Productions, LLC may update these Terms of Service periodically to reflect changes in our business practices. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
